- Canada Experience Class
The Canada Experience Class is designed to help foreign workers and students who have been in Canada for a prescribed length of time and apply for permanent residence because by working or studying in Canada the applicant is considered to have accumulated the requisite experience and skills and have acclimated themselves into Canadian society. This class does not apply should you decide to live in Quebec.
Key Items to Note:
-Workers must have worked in Canada under NOC ‘O,’ ‘A’, or ‘B’ for at least two years in the preceding three year period before the date of the application.
-Students, in Canada, must have completed a required program of study (of at least 2 years) in Canada and obtained a Canadian educational degree, diploma or certificate AND acquired one year of full-time (or equivalent), skilled work experience under NOC ‘O,’ ‘A’, or ‘B’ before the date of application.
-Meet minimum language requirements via IELTS (General test) or other approved testing organizations recognized under the ‘Canadian Language Benchmarks 2000.’
